I can smell we are getting near. The Sam Yaffa connection keeps coming up again and again. As I remember the cassette I had said "Blue for you" or possibly "Blue for Two"on it with marker. At the time I had assumed this was the Sator album title. However, when I mentioned the track "I wanna go home" a friend of mine quickly produced the Headquake album with said track on it. I had then gone on to assume that the tape was a compliation of Sator tracks rather than a specific album. Chip from Sator has deined all knowledge, although mentioned Sam Yaffa again.
Maybe it is a Scandi-rock compilation. if I track this down , Ill post it on the site cos it is a diamond of a track.

Sorry can't be of more help. Intrigued now as to what it actually is????
-
Driving me nuts too. Wish Id never mentioned it!!
However, bits of lyrics that come to mind.
The song has a bit of a Dont You Ever Leave Me, Hanoi vibe about it. The guy sings.
"It took me quite a while to figure out, that she had left me, and now without doubt, it is perfectly clear that she has moved out of here for good. She must have gone while I was away, she left me washing up and bills to pay"
Then the pre chours kicks in with a line something like...
"But its become an institution of her leaving me this way.... so she,ll be back sometime today.. My little ruanway."
Ill name that tune in 80

I'm 99% positive it's Lonely in Love - good luck finding it. Wish I still had a copy!
-
Im on it. I tried the link you sent and found it but no download Im afraid. Its got to be somewhere.

Yes, it?s definetly Sam Yaffa?s and Pelle Almgren?s song "Lonely in Love" from their EP in 1986.
I have that on vinyl, and it?s also in the 4CD Hanoi Rocks box that came out in Finland few years ago.
Great song, indeed!

Getting closer to finding it?!!?!

There's nothing on Limewire.

Sometime in the near future (maybe next week already) when I get my new computer AND learn how to use it, I can make mp3 of that song and send it to you, if nobody had done that before it.
